Our story
Built from direct experience inside senior care.
EverCare grew out of direct experience with the adult family home market in Pierce County — the business model, the regulatory framework, the day-to-day reality of running a licensed home.
That background shapes how we work with families now. We know what clean caregiver rotations look like. We know the difference between a home that documents care plans weekly and one that copy-pastes last month’s. We know why families walk into a tour looking for one kind of home and walk out realizing they actually need a different one.

Every family learns how we're paid on the first call, not after the decision.
Vetted, not comprehensive
We list fewer homes than the DSHS directory. That's the point.
Local, not national
Pierce County and South King County. We don't franchise. We don't place outside Washington.

If you're on a 48-hour discharge timeline, we move at that pace. If you have 6 weeks, we use it.
How we’re different
Not the 'Google and tour 10 homes yourself' path.
The default path for a family looking for placement goes something like this: Google ‘adult family home Tacoma,’ get a directory of 80+ licensed homes, call the ones with websites, visit 5–10 over a week, and hope you asked the right questions.
Two problems with that: you don’t know which homes are actively accepting new residents at the care level you need, and you don’t know which homes have issues that don’t surface in a 30-minute tour.
We take the first two steps before you get involved. What you see by the time we hand over a shortlist is 3–6 homes that actually have openings, match the care level, and work with the payment model your family is using.
