EverCare Advisors is committed to ensuring that our website, evercareadvisors.com, is accessible to people with disabilities, consistent with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard.
Our accessibility commitment
We believe that every family should be able to find senior-care information regardless of ability. Seniors and their caregivers may have visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive limitations that affect how they interact with websites. We design the site with those realities in mind.
What we do
- Semantic HTML — pages use proper heading structure, landmark regions, and semantic tags so screen readers can navigate.
- Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (links, form fields, buttons, the cookie consent banner) are reachable and operable via keyboard. Focus indicators are visible.
- Alternative text — informational images include descriptive alt text; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Form labels — every form field has a programmatically associated label, with error messages announced to screen readers.
- Readable typography — body text is 17px by default with 1.6 line-height. Headings use a clear visual hierarchy.
- Responsive design — the site adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling.
- No autoplay media — we don’t autoplay audio or video that could interfere with screen readers.
Known limitations
Third-party tools embedded on our site (forms, cookie consent banner, analytics) are configured to their most accessible defaults, but we do not control their underlying code. If you encounter accessibility barriers with a third-party tool, please let us know so we can work with the provider or find an alternative.
Downloadable PDF guides (when available) are structured for screen readers where possible. If a PDF isn’t accessible for your situation, we can provide the content in an alternate format on request.
How to report accessibility issues
If you encounter something on our site that is difficult to access, please let us know. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way. We’ll respond within 2 business days and work to resolve the issue.

Alternative ways to reach us
If the website isn’t working for you, we can handle the entire placement consultation by phone. You don’t need to fill out any online form to engage our service. Call (253) 555-0100 Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm PT, or leave a message outside those hours and we’ll call back.
For families supporting a senior with vision or cognitive limitations, we can also speak directly with a designated family member or Power of Attorney.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time box to check. We audit the site periodically, update templates as accessibility standards evolve, and incorporate feedback from users who tell us what isn’t working. If you have a specific accessibility need that would help your family use our service, we want to hear about it.
